Key points for operating a portable wood cutting machine
The key operating points of the portable wood cutting machine are as follows:
First, preparations before operation
Personal protective equipment: Before operation, be sure to wear goggles, gloves, earplugs and work clothes properly to avoid injury to the operator caused by wood chips, noise and other substances generated during the cutting process.
Equipment inspection: Carefully check whether all parts of the cutting machine are normal, including whether the power cord is undamaged, whether the cutting disc is firmly installed, and whether the protective cover is firmly fixed, etc. At the same time, make sure the power supply is consistent with the regular rated voltage on the power tool and do not connect the power supply incorrectly.
Workpiece preparation: Select appropriate cutting discs based on the thickness and type of the wood, and draw cutting lines on the wood. For thinner wooden boards, you can draw lines with a ruler and place another wooden board on the lines as a reference for cutting. For thicker plates, the areas to be cut should be marked in advance, and then the plates should be placed on the table and pushed along the lines.
Preparation of the work area: Ensure that the work surface is stable and free of debris. There should be sufficient lighting brightness for night work.
Second, the operation process
Start the cutting machine: Hold the cutting machine firmly with both hands, standing steadily with one foot in front and the other behind. Hold the auxiliary handle with your left hand, and simultaneously press the power and control keys with your right index and middle fingers to start the cutting machine. After starting, do not directly cut the object. Instead, first run it a few times without load to confirm that it is safe and correct before proceeding with the cutting operation.
Cutting operation:
Linear cutting: Guide plates or laser guidance can be used to assist in cutting to ensure the accuracy of the cutting direction. When cutting, hold the handle of the cutting machine firmly, apply force evenly, and cut vertically to maintain a uniform cutting speed.
Curve cutting: Adjust the Angle of the saw blade and slowly move the cutting machine along the line. During the cutting process, special attention should be paid to controlling the movement direction of the saw blade to avoid excessive force causing the tool to lose control.
Safety precautions:
When cutting, the workpiece must be held and pressed firmly with fixtures or pliers. When cutting small parts, special tools should be used for holding. It is strictly forbidden to cut by hand or by pressing.
The cutting direction must not be towards people. The hand should maintain a certain safe distance from the grinding wheel of the cutting machine, and the distance must not be lower than the specified value.
During the cutting process, keep an eye on the temperature of the casing at all times to prevent foreign objects from entering the motor. If the blade gets stuck, the machine should be stopped and the blade should be slowly withdrawn. Then, it should be realigned and cut again.
It is strictly prohibited to use the cutting machine in the hot work area without obtaining a hot work permit. When cutting, be careful to prevent sparks from flying and keep it away from flammable and explosive items.
Third, post-operation processing
After the cutting is completed, turn off the switch of the cutting machine and disconnect the power supply.
Equipment storage: Place the cutting machine on the worktable and ensure that the worktable does not occupy any passageways.
Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the working environment and remove wood chips and dust from the saw blade. Wipe the saw blade with alcohol regularly to prevent rust. Gear bearings also need to be lubricated regularly; The power cord and plug should also be inspected frequently to prevent aging. If the saw blade is worn out, replace it with a new one in time to maintain the cutting effect.
